📖Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive POWER (the dynamic ability to cause or effect changes), after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you..." (Emphasis added)

Beloved, let's take a little journey 🔙 into the Old Testament and dig out something worth adhering to. It is my desire that with this illustrious, consciously inspired by the Holy Spirit and carefully documented by anointed saints of old, I can help you come to a better understanding of the Gospel Truth which I am privileged to share with you this day.

Now, I know you may be asking, "I thought it's all Jesus, so why the Old Testament?". What you must understand is that the Scriptures themselves testifies about (points to) Jesus. If it doesn't point to JESUS and reveal God's intentions for us in Christ Jesus then you are to ignore them.

Jesus Christ Himself speaking to the Jews said:
📖John 5:39 "Search the scriptures...they are they which testify of me."

With this point being clearly explained, let's go 🔙 in time and discover what truth the Spirit has for us:

In the book of Exodus, Moses led the Israelites on a desperate flee from the Egyptians. As they reached the Red Sea, it seemed as though they were trapped.

The Israelites began to complain. The ANOINTING of God came upon Moses, and he quieted the people telling them to stand still and see that God would fight for them.

📖Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

The revolt stopped, and the people were completely silent. But the Egyptians were still coming.

It was then that God asked Moses why he was crying out to Him and told Moses to instead TAKE ACTION and “LIFT up thy rod, and STRETCH out thine hand over the sea, and DIVIDE it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea” (📖Ex. 14:15-16).

OMG (Oh My GOD 😱) Did you see that? Please, Tell me you saw it! That's remarkable, isn't it?

God was telling Moses (a man under the covenant of goats and calves and sheep and pigeons) that since he had turned his life over to Him, HE COULD USE GOD’S AUTHORITY in the situation. How much more us, under a Better Covenant built on Better Promises, powered by the Precious Blood of JESUS CHRIST?

            ✏ This is a WORD for us today: 👇

📝 Our lives are not our own. Christ lives through us, and WE NEED TO USE THE POWER HE HAS GIVEN US (📖Gal. 2:20).

📖Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you POWER (Authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and OVER ALL the power (abilities) of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Instead of praying and crying for God to do something when we get into a crisis situation, we need to RECOGNIZE that we have the power of God living on the inside of us.

Apostle Paul puts it this way: 👇
📖Ephesians 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power AVAILABLE TO US WHO BELIEVE, according to the working of his mighty power

It is this understanding that powers our faith into notable effectiveness and causes us to enjoy the transcendent life in Christ Jesus to which we're called. 👇

📖Philemon 1:6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN YOU in Christ Jesus.

Once we have turned our lives over to God (by believing in JESUS, appreciating and accepting His Substitutionary Sacrifice for us), WE HAVE POWER OVER OUR CIRCUMSTANCES. We cease to be weaklings. We become kings and priests!

📖2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Have ever you sat down to think about what that clause "partakers of the divine nature" really mean to us? It means to be "PARTICIPATORS IN THE DIVINE EXPERIENCE"!

This is an invitation to live in the Class of God; to function at God's frequency; to be able to do what GOD can do. The best way to paint it clearly enough for you is to show you from what JESUS Himself said:

📖John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, THE WORKS THAT I DO SHALL HE DO ALSO; AND GREATER WORKS than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Cancer, illness, and every kind of lack should tremble in our presence! Why? 👇

📖Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ (The Anointed One) have put on Christ (His Anointing).

If you are truly Born Again, you have put on the same anointing that was upon JESUS when He was here on earth 📖Acts 10:38

Now, for us to be able to properly, adequately and successfully EXERCISE the AUTHORITY that has been GIVEN to us, we have to UNDERSTAND and UTILIZE the Efficacious and Peerless NAME OF JESUS.

             2⃣ Points To Note 📝

1⃣ USING the Name Of Jesus is how we exercise authority over all the machinations and manipulations of nocturnal (demoniacal) forces.

📖Mark 16:17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils..."

2⃣ LIVING IN the Name Of Jesus is how we enforce and maintain our victory in Christ over Satan and his cohorts.

📖Colossians  3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

          ✏ Where GOD'S Authority Is Located! ✒

Furthermore, you must understand that the AUTHORITY we have been given is actually EMBEDDED IN the NAME OF JESUS. It is NOT tied to our human efforts (including fasting and the use of "means" [ALL spiritual items]).

📖Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them POWER (authority) AGAINST unclean spirits, TO cast them out, and TO heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

📖Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, EVEN THE DEVILS ARE SUBJECT UNTO US THROUGH THY NAME.

"The NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH" is the only thing the devil 😈 fears and dreads. To employ ANOTHER NAME (Eg: Holy Ghost 🔥, Thunder and Lightning and Brimstone, as some have ignorantly made a ministry out of) is to expose yourself to stiff oppositions that may eventually crush you.

We were not given Holy Ghost fire 🔥 to use and live in/by. We were given the NAME OF JESUS.
📖Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven GIVEN among men, whereby we must be saved.

If all you know is to call the Holy Ghost 🔥 every time you are faced with challenges, my brother and sister, you are on a Verrrrry long thing. You are more confused than LUCIFER. He will easily corner you and take advantage of you.

            ✏ Yes, You Can; Believe It! ✒

IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
👊 YOU CAN stop Lucifer now, thwarting all schemes and devices.
👊 YOU CAN decide how far Satan goes, keeping him at bay at all times.
👊 YOU CAN shut down the devil's operations and dealings around you.
👊 YOU CAN silence his activities and bring them to a halt.
👊 YOU CAN put him where he belongs (which is under your feet).

📝 Never stop USING and LIVING IN the NAME OF JESUS!

📖Philippians  2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and GIVEN HIM A NAME which is ABOVE EVERY NAME:  2:10 That AT THE NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth

Beloved, you have Power (authority) OVER your circumstances; don't let them lord over you, lord over them. Exercise your GOD-GIVEN AUTHORITY over them using THE NAME OF JESUS!

📖Matthew  17:20 "And Jesus said unto them...for verily I say unto you...If...ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place..it shall remove; and NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU."
